Introducing the Children to Nature with Team Valencia

Imagine how thrilled we were to learn that not just one team from Spain was arriving - but two!!

This group of wonderful people whom we are affectionately calling Team Valencia consisted of Adam, Gem, Javi, and Martina.

Their visit was an absolute delight, and they brought so much joy and positivity to our community. One of the most memorable moments was when they dedicated their time and effort to painting the classroom. With their artistic skills and creativity, they transformed the space into a vibrant and inspiring environment for the children, who can't wait for term to start to try out their new space.

During their stay, they formed strong connections with both the children and the staff. They played numerous games with the children, creating a bond that was truly heartwarming. It was beautiful to witness the laughter and smiles shared between them. The group's genuine care and compassion made a lasting impact on everyone involved - and the children were delighted to show off their smart football strips!

On the last day of their visit, they organized a special outing to a natural park, and it was a day filled with wonder and excitement. Thirteen children from the children's home had the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature for the first time.

They were in awe as they saw elephants majestically roaming; went on a thrilling boat cruise; observed playful monkeys swinging from trees; encountered crocodiles and hippos, and encountered many other fascinating creatures. It was a truly unforgettable adventure that opened their eyes to the wonders of the natural world.

The joy and happiness radiating from the children's faces during that day will forever be etched in our hearts. The group from Valencia not only provided them with a memorable experience but also instilled a sense of curiosity and appreciation for the world around them.

We are immensely grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by Adam, Gem, Javi, and Martina. They have become cherished members of our Mushunga Community Project Family. Their visit has not only brought joy to the children but has also inspired us to continue our mission of making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
